A Family-Owned Recycler in Fort Worth
AP&J Recycling is a family-owned business at 990 Haltom Road in east Fort Worth. We specialize in post-industrial plastics, mainly HDPE and polypropylene, which we grind and process into regrind that molders and compounders use as raw material.
Our work starts where a manufacturer’s waste stream ends: production scrap, rejected parts, purgings, excess inventory and obsolete product. Instead of paying to landfill that material, our customers send it to us, and it goes back into new products.
We have decades of combined recycling experience, and we keep investing in equipment and processes that let us take on new materials and new kinds of jobs.

What We Do
Everything we offer comes back to one goal: keeping useful material out of the landfill and back in production.
- Industrial plastic recycling of HDPE, polypropylene and other post-industrial plastics
- Plastic grinding and toll processing that turns scrap into usable regrind
- Product destruction for expired, recalled, obsolete or off-spec goods
- Landfill diversion and commercial recycling programs for businesses
- Roll-off hauling to get material from your site to ours
- Full circle recycle programs that return your scrap to manufacturing

Our Fort Worth Facility
Our plant is in east Fort Worth, close to the manufacturers, distributors and warehouses we serve across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Material comes in by our own roll-off trucks or is dropped off by customers, then gets sorted, ground and prepared for its next use.
Not sure whether we can take your material? Call 682-841-1305 and tell us what it is and roughly how much you have.
Recognized in Our Community
In 2021 the Fort Worth Star-Telegram covered AP&J as the local place to recycle polypropylene campaign yard signs, which the city’s curbside program can’t take. It’s a small example of what we do every day: finding a second life for plastic that would otherwise be thrown away. Read our guide to recycling campaign signs in Fort Worth.
