Unsellable Product, Gone for Good
Product that leaves your dock as trash has a way of turning up again on discount sites and flea market tables. When a customer buys a broken or expired item with your name on it, your brand takes the blame. Destruction takes those goods out of circulation for good, along with old labels and packaging that counterfeiters could use.
Plastic is our strength. Grinding a molded part or container into flake makes it unrecognizable, and that flake can become regrind for new manufacturing instead of going to the landfill. Destruction and recycling happen in one step, which also counts toward your landfill diversion numbers.

What We Destroy
- Recalled or defective product
- Off-spec and rejected production runs
- Obsolete packaging, labels and branded promotional items
- Returned merchandise that can’t be resold
- Excess or discontinued inventory
- Prototypes and pre-release samples
Plastic products and packaging are where we add the most value. For expired food, beverages and other liquids, see destroying expired and recalled products, and tell us what you have so we can say what we can take.
What to tell us
- What the product is and what it’s made of
- How it’s packed (cases, pallets, loose) and roughly how much
- Why it’s being destroyed: recall, expiry, defect or obsolescence
- What proof you need at the end for auditors, insurers or your customer
Why brands pay for destruction
The usual reasons are resale risk, fraud and recordkeeping. Defective units can be relabeled and sold as new, excess stock can be stolen, and genuine packaging helps counterfeiters make fakes look real. After a recall, a manufacturer or distributor often has to show what happened to the returned units, and some categories such as food, cosmetics and drugs carry their own disposal expectations from federal and state agencies. A destruction record answers those questions later. Prototypes and pre-release samples are another reason: destroying them keeps a new design from being photographed, sold or copied before launch.
How It Works
- Scope the job. We go over the product, volume, packaging and the records you need.
- Pickup or delivery. Loads are counted or weighed before they leave your site. For large cleanouts we can stage a container through our roll-off hauling service.
- Sort. Material is separated by type so each stream goes to the right method and recyclable material is pulled out.
- Destroy and recover. Product is shredded or ground until it can’t be identified or used. Plastic goes on to become regrind through our grinding line, and anything that can’t be recovered goes to proper disposal.
- Records. You get documentation of what was destroyed for your files.
We handle destruction for businesses in Fort Worth, Dallas and across North Texas.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is product destruction different from regular disposal?
Regular disposal moves waste off your site with no tracking of where it goes. Destruction adds custody of the load, a method that leaves nothing usable, and records you can show anyone who asks.
Can destroyed products be recycled?
Often, yes. Plastic products can be ground into regrind for new manufacturing, and packaging such as cardboard can go to standard recycling. The goal is to make the product unusable while still recovering the material.
Can we watch the destruction?
If witnessing matters for your compliance file, raise it when we scope the job and we’ll talk through the options.
Is product destruction only for large companies?
No. A small brand with one pallet of defective product faces the same resale and reputation risks as a national company. We scale the job to the volume.
