One recycler for your plastic scrap and the waste around it
AP&J is a family-owned recycler at 990 Haltom Road in Fort Worth. Our core work is processing post-industrial plastics, mainly HDPE and polypropylene, into regrind that molders and compounders use as raw material. We also buy and sell plastic scrap, so clean material from your plant has somewhere useful to go.
Most companies need more than a grinder, though. Scrap has to be collected and hauled, obsolete product has to be destroyed before it can be recycled, and someone has to keep the whole program from sliding back into the dumpster. The services below cover each of those pieces, and you can use one or combine several. Because the plastic comes to our own plant, you know where it ends up: ground into raw material for new products, not tipped at a landfill. If you are not sure which service fits, call and describe what is piling up. We will point you to the right one.

Industrial Plastic Recycling
We process post-industrial HDPE and polypropylene into regrind for molding and compounding, and we buy and sell plastic scrap.

Plastic Grinding & Toll Processing
Send us your scrap and we grind it to size. With toll processing, your own material comes back to you as regrind.

Product Destruction
Expired, recalled, off-spec or obsolete product is destroyed so it cannot be resold, then the materials are recycled where possible.

Commercial Recycling
Recycling set up for businesses, with containers and pickups that keep recyclable material separate from the trash.

Landfill Diversion
We look at what your business throws away and route the recoverable material, especially plastic, to recycling instead of the landfill.

Roll-Off Hauling
Roll-off containers delivered to your site and picked up when full, with plastic scrap brought back to our plant for grinding.

Full Circle Recycle Programs
Programs that close the loop for manufacturers: your production scrap becomes regrind that can go back into your own parts.
Who we work with
We serve businesses across Dallas-Fort Worth and North Texas, including:
- Manufacturers with steady plastic scrap from production lines
- Molders and compounders who generate runners, purgings and rejects, and who use regrind as raw material
- Distributors and retailers clearing returns, damaged goods and obsolete inventory
- OEMs looking to reduce waste and keep track of what they recycle
Smaller jobs are welcome too. We accept polypropylene campaign yard signs at no charge (see where to recycle campaign signs in Fort Worth), and we can help with one-off cleanouts when a business needs to clear out a load of plastic or old stock.
Frequently Asked Questions
What kinds of plastic does AP&J recycle?
Our main materials are post-industrial HDPE and polypropylene, which we process into regrind for molding and compounding. We review other resins case by case. Send a description or photo of your material and we will tell you whether we can take it.
Where are you located, and what area do you serve?
Our facility is at 990 Haltom Road, Suite 140, Fort Worth, TX 76117. We work with businesses across Dallas-Fort Worth and North Texas.
Can I combine services?
Yes, and most customers do. A common setup pairs roll-off hauling with plastic grinding, or product destruction with recycling of the destroyed material. Tell us what you are dealing with and we will suggest the right mix.
What should I have ready when I call?
The type of material, a rough volume per week or month (or the total for a one-time job), how it is stored now and your location. A few photos help us give you a clear answer faster.
